SCAPA Bluegrass is a school for students, grades 4 - 8, who have been identified as gifted/talented in the areas of Art, Music, Dance, Drama and Creative Writing. 

Students wishing to be considered for placement at SCAPA Bluegrass audition in the fall prior to the year of attendance.  Applications will be available from September 1 through October 15 of each school year.

SCAPA Bluegrass Audition/Application Information Meeting

6:00pm to 7:00pm:  Meet with Carla Pleasant to find out all about the audition process, timelines, deadlines, general information about the school.  This information session will take place in the SCAPA Bluegrass Multipurpose Room.

7:05pm to 7:45pm:   Tour the building on your own.  All SCAPA arts teachers will be in their classrooms to meet you and answer questions about the auditions and the arts programs at SCAPA.  SCAPA's 4th grade teachers will also be available to discuss the 4th grade academic program at SCAPA.

 

NEW!!! Audition Preparation Workshops!!!  Current 3rd Grade Students Only!!!

This year, during the Information Meeting, we will be offering Audition Preparation Workshops for current 3rd grade students only while Carla meets with the parents! 

The workshops will be offered in all arts areas and students can attend 1 or 2 workshops that evening!!! 

Please pre-register for the sessions at 381-3338 (no pre-registrations will be accepted prior to September 15, 2009).
