Beaumont Middle School

Our PTSA (Parent-Teacher-Student Association) is friendly and very active.  We welcome all parents/guardians of Beaumont students to become involved in any way they can, big or small.   Click here to view our New PTSA website.

Responsible for maintaining the financial records of the PTSA and for making all cash deposits and disbursements

Secretary (Board Position)

Responsible for creating and distributing the meeting minutes.

VP of Fundraising (Board Position)

Coordinate fundraising.

Gary Ranft

VP of Membership (Board Position)

Responsible for promoting membership, collecting membership forms and dues from members, submitting dues to National PTA.

Sarah Styer

Box Tops/Tyson Labels

Manage the Box Top and Tyson Label program.  Collect and submit Box Tops/ Labels for credit and disburse funds to the teachers.

Patricia Porter

Cares & Concerns Coordinator

Arrange for get-well cards, expressions of sympathy, etc. as needed for Beaumont staff and students.

Valerie Caudill

Door Greeter Coordinator

Coordinate the volunteers who are needed daily, in two-hour shifts, to monitor the sign-in table in the BMS foyer by opening the door for visitors and asking them to sign-in.

God’s Pantry

Coordinate the food drive with students and staff during the month of October.

Coordinates Staff Appreciation activities.

Library Volunteer Coordinator

Coordinate the volunteers who are needed during the school day to assist with shelving books and student checkouts in the library.

Market Day Coordinator

Coordinate the volunteers who are needed to distribute purchased items during the monthly pick-up at the school

Marquee

Maintain the content of the marquee located in front of the building.  Normally updated monthly or bi-monthly.

Reality Store Coordinator

Reality Store is a one day event for 7th graders, who are assigned a career (based on GPA) to learn about the realities of a budget for housing, transportation, childcare, etc.  Parents are needed to help with the various stations of this activity.

Red Ribbon Week

Coordinate volunteers who are needed to assist with activities for a week in October focusing on drug and alcohol awareness.

Coordinate student materials to be sent to the District PTA Reflections competition.

Coordinate parents who assist in tutoring students in different academic areas.

PTSA Meetings for the 2013-2014 school year are scheduled as follows:  August 12, October 14, December 9, February 10, April 14, and May 19.  Meetings are held in the BMS library at 6:00 PM.
